Our Mandate
The PHILRACOM created by virtue of P.D. 420 is mandated to promote and direct the accelerated development and continuous growth of horse racing not only in the furtherance of the sports development program of the government but also in order to insure the full exploitation of horse racing as a source of revenue and employment.
Aims and Objectives
a. To promote and maintain efficient and unbiased operation of racing exclusive of the supervision of betting therein;b.
b. To raise public confidence in the sport and minimize infraction of the rules of racing;
c. To improve the breed of Philippine horses and to prevent illegal importation of racehorses.
