PHILRACOM Kapamilya “2nd Wave Outreach Medical Mission” , Unfolds in SCLP Naic, Cavite

In line with the implementation of the "PHILRACOM Road Map for 4Q 2011 and Beyond", the Commission, in coordination with the PCSO and PRCI, conducted the "PHILRACOM Kapamilya 2nd Wave Outreach Medical Mission" last February 3, 2012 at the SCLP Grandstand Lobby in Naic , Cavite.
The Medical Mission Team was comprised of two (2) PHILRACOM In-house Medical Officers, four (4) volunteer doctors, and five (5) volunteer nurses. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), supported the project by providing additional medicines and manpower by the participation of (3) doctors and (3) nurses dedicated to serve the hapless sector of our racing industry. The PHILRACOM facilitated the Drug Testing, a requirement for the issuance of license, for the grooms, groom helpers, exercise riders, and farriers within the premises of the PRCI in Naic, Cavite last January 12, 2012.
Multilab Diagnostic & Health Services, a DOH Accredited Laboratory, situated in Trece Martirez City, conducted the on-site Drug Testing (at a discounted cost), from 9:00am - 5pm, which was actively participated by 115 PRCI stable workforce consisting of new licensees and those for renewals.
