As the PHILIPPINE RACING COMMISSION celebrates its 40th Milestone Year of unwavering service and commitment to its horseracing industry partners and stakeholders, comes significant accomplishments to mark this Ruby Anniversary.

The kickoff to PHILRACOM's celebration to praise its invaluable achievement was a letter of citation dated March 7, 2014 from the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) -Region 8 Revenue District Office. The PHILRACOM was appreciatively commended for consistently being one of the top taxpayers within the Revenue District No. 8; for its continued support to the government tax reform programs; and to the promotion of national prosperity.

Similarly, the Civil Service Commission (CSC), in its letter of March 11, 2014 acknowledged the collaborative efforts of PHILRACOM in the active participation to their 3-Phase Let's Talk Program dubbed as "Let's Talk 3: Celebrating Milestones".

Highlighting the Program was the conferment of the PHILRACOM to LEVEL II Accreditation Status under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM). The PHILRACOM has satisfactorily complied with all the requirements of the CSC under Memorandum Circular No.3, s.2012 and successfully passed the CSC-NCR assessment in 2013.

In a simple ceremony conducted last March 27, 2014 at the CSC-NCR Office, CSC Chairman Francisco T. Duque III awarded the LEVEL II Accreditation Certificate to the PHILRACOM received by Ms.Eva L. Bataller, Deputy Executive Director III and Ms. Anna Maria T. Dimaano, Administrative Officer V, representing Chairman Angel L. CastaƱo, Jr. and Executive Director Jesus B. Cantos.

The current leadership of the Commission, jointly with its entire workforce, takes pride and honor in leading the Philippine Horse Racing Industry to a straight forward path, promoting genuine civil service and good governance. This was contrived in its Plans & Programs (P&P) "Road Map 4Q 2011 & Beyond" mandated under P.D. 420 and in support to His Excellency President Noynoy Aquino's crusade against graft and corruption in the bureaucracy.
