The Philippine Horse Racing Industry has a new (10th) Triple Crown Sweep Champion - - KID MOLAVE.

The 3YO colt, an island-born by Info Mischief out of Unsaid owned by Emmanuel A. Santos, was expertly ridden by John Alvin A. Guce, and proficiently trained by Renato "Egoy" C. Hipolito.

Now considered as the best 3YO in the land, KID MOLAVE persistently managed the 2,000-meter distance in the pace of gruelling duel in front between Matang Tubig and Low Profile. As placers, Low Profile came in 2nd, King Bull - 3rd and Macho Machine - 4th , with a clocking of 2:07.2 (24-25-26.8-25.2-26.2).

Being the best among his juvenile batch, KID MOLAVE won last year's PHILRACOM Juvenile Championship with ace Jockey Jonathan B. Hernandez. Earlier this year, the 3YO colt conveniently won the first two legs of the 2014 PHILRACOM Triple Crown Series. Proving his supremacy among the best 3YOs, he convincingly conquered the 3rd & Final Leg last July 27, 2014 at San Lazaro Leisure Park before the applauding vast crowd of supporters, racing aficionados and stakeholders thus sweeping all three (3)-leg series.

PHILRACOM Chairman Angel L. Castaño, Jr. was greatly delighted by the success of this milestone event, acclaimed as the first ever "sweep" of the Philippine Triple Crown in the history of the Three (3)-Race-Clubs era. This annual series was well-promoted by the Racing Clubs, supported by industry sectors and greatly patronized by the "Bayang Karerista" as evidenced by the substantial betting sales and actual track crowd attendance.

For each leg of the Triple Crown Series, the PHILRACOM gave a total of P3 Million in prizes (Distributed from 1st to 4th Placers), with KID MOLAVE's connections gaining a purse of P1.8 Million and Mr. Manny Santos receiving an incentive of P100,000 as the winning breeder. Having swept the Triple Crown Series, KID MOLAVE, the track superstar of the 3-Racing-Club era is entitled to another P500,000.00 as allocated bonus for his notable achievement.

For the record, Hagdang Bato (owned by Mayor Benhur Abalos) was the last Triple Crown sweep holder in 2012 while Silver Story (owned by Mr. Patrick Uy) in 2001.
